it feels like they're everywhere. like here, here and here.
they are all over facebook. tons of people who got married shortly before or after we did who are already expecting.
sometimes i get a little baby crazy due to the adorableness everywhere!
noah and i had spoken a lot about the subject when we first got married. seeing as we'd already been together for 4 years, i thought we should just start right away.
these were some tough conversations. my whole life my biggest goal has always been to be a mama. i've always loved children and just felt so natural around them, taking care of them.
i was feeling really anxious. then i realized noah was right, we are still really young with a lot more adventuring to do before bringing a little one into the world.
we've never really travelled together, except to NY, once.
and we had much more to see and experience before making a tiny one. (i call babies "tiny(s)" a lot)
anyway, we talked it over and decided to sit down and discuss/write out the goals we wanted to achieve before trying. instead of putting a time frame on it, making this list really seemed to take an enormous amount of pressure and anxiety off of both of us.
has anyone else experienced baby fever lately???
have you had any discussions like this?
i am so so happy for all of those out there experiencing parenthood for the first time right now
and i know when the time is right, noah and i will both know it and be ready
hope you have a lovely friday and weekend! we're finally getting some sunshine here.
i just couldn't resist, i love this one and i've been missing my busy little chef lately.
and looking at these ceremony photos just reminds me of the day i married my best friend.
it makes me miss him a little less.
so so excited! our shoot is posted today on elizabeth anne designs!
go check it out and show us some love in the comments if you would ;)
we would greatly appreciate your support!
also...check out the video i made of our shoot below
i figured since i've been living here for a while now, its about time that i posted an oregon venue!
oregon is not short on gorgeous outdoor venues.
they are all over the place- woods, trees, meadows, lakes.
this particular venue has all of those listed in one beautiful space.
you can have your wedding outdoors and they have an indoor option as well. check it out:
good morning! how were your weekends?? do anything exciting?
i had a few really exciting things happen- a few more inquiries for wedding planning, nailed down some things with the weddings i'm planning and last but not lest, we added a new addition to our little family:
she's our new puppy and she is the sweetest.
this is how she was sleeping on me this morning when i woke up.
i die. too cute.
some other delightful things for your monday:
this photo series makes me curse the day i chopped my hair off
and dream, wish, hope for it to grow faster.
a friend recently showed me this amazing venue in san francisco.
his parents were married there years ago and were met by confusion from the staff when they asked if they could be married there. what were those staff members thinking!?
now it books up like crazy!
it's lush and gorgeous and absolutely incredible. check it out:
okay. so lately i've realized something.
i am not the best at sharing things about my husband and i, our two pups and our life-after-wedding here.
therefore i'm going to try and start doing more of that (good idea, bad idea??)
to start, i want to share with you all a bit more about mr. hershman, my other half:
(the dogs-love this one)
(our cute little craftsman house)
he loves music.
our two crazy dogs, zoey and talulah.
and last but not least, food.
he is a cook/chef. a really really good one.
he went to school for youth ministry but ended up cooking his way through it. he soon figured out it was his passion and now we hope to own our own little deli/cafe one day together.
he works here and here where we live in bend, or.
arguably two of the best places to eat in town.
i'm really proud of him and how passionate he is about food, cooking and the joy and love found in doing it.
he recently started a food blog! it's actually brand new, but i'd love for you all to check it out here.
